The incident of a tree falling and cutting the power line, electrocuting and tragically killing three members of a family in Binh Duong<\/a> – An elderly woman sweeping water in front of her house accidentally touched the power line falling and suffering electric shocks while her husband, son, and grandson who came to rescue her also suffered electric shocks and died – has left a deep thoughts on the observers. This heartbreaking incident happens quite often in Vietnam because many people are not aware of identifying risks and protecting themselves before providing first aid to someone who has been electrocuted.<\/p> \n \n

For street electricity, absolutely do not approach the victim without first having the authorities approach, turn off the power, and ensure the area is safe. For victims of household electrical shock (110-220V electricity, electricity in the home\/workplace), the following is a safe way to handle it:<\/p> \n \n
