150 students majoring in reception, travel management, tour guiding… at Hai Phong Tourism College have received international-standard first aid training.

Hai Phong Tourism College, in collaboration with Survival Skills Vietnam, organized a basic international-standard first aid course for 150 students in reception, travel management, tour guiding, etc. on August 12.

During the program, the students were provided with knowledge on four common life-threatening situations, namely airway obstruction, bleeding, burns, and fractures, as well as international-standard first aid skills for students under the guidance of an expert from Australia.
Such skills helped the students become more professional and better prepared for supplementary tasks while working at accommodation and tourism facilities in Hai Phong and across the country.

Earlier, in May, more than 100 students of the college also attended a first aid training course organized by the city Red Cross Society.
