This week, Ms. Sarah Hooper – Australian Consul General, Ms. Julie Hart – First Secretary, Australian Embassy and Dr. Kaye Eldridge – Program Director of Aus4Skills had an intimate discussion with the co-founders of SSVN Survival Skills.
The Consul General shared her special interest in the close cooperation between SSVN and training organizations in Australia in the mission of reducing casualties in Vietnam, especially the cooperation with Surf Life Saving in the upcoming water rescue training program.
SSVN’s project is an example of the friendship between Australian alumni, Australians and organizations between the two countries. The 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia relations in 2023 is coming soon and the Australian government is eager to accompany the alumni community to build a friendly relationship between the two countries with many substantive impacts.
