TP. Ho Chi Minh City – Recently, SSVN (Survival Skills Vietnam) organized a program on First Aid, Survival, Escape, and Fire Prevention and Fighting (Fire Prevention and Fighting). These are free courses held at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, with international standard first aid education programs. What is special is that this course is not only for students but also attracts the attention of businesses and people.
In the context that every day in Vietnam, traffic accidents kill about 30 people and leave 70 people disabled for life, and every year 2,000 children die from drowning, equipping them with survival skills, escape, fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) and first aid is not only necessary but also the responsibility of each individual.
Participating in these courses not only equips us with knowledge about survival and escape, but also guides us in practicing escape skills, fire prevention and fighting, rescue and first aid. These are basic but very important skills for us to be able to respond in emergency situations, from handling airway obstruction, heart bleeding to simple ways like saving the life of a victim.
Let’s improve our skills and awareness so that we can join the community in building a safer and more sustainable living environment.
