Recently, I attended a training session organized by Survival Skills Vietnam-SSVN on first aid skills. It wasn’t a hands-on training session, but the participants were guided on simple methods that can be immediately applied in emergency situations. From this session, I have learned two important things:
Therefore, these are skills that everyone should have, not just doctors. It allows us to provide timely support to our loved ones in critical situations when experts may not be available for immediate assistance. We often say, “That’s not my expertise, why should I care?” or “Such things will never happen to me.” However, the value of everyone’s life is the same. I used to feel extremely helpless when faced with someone in need of assistance and not knowing what to do to help them before medical professionals arrived. It was a painful feeling.
Because if we both get into trouble, no one will be able to save us both. Therefore, in every decision, one must prioritize their own safety in order to help those in distress.

From this training, I have set a new goal for the upcoming year. I will definitely participate in more training sessions organized by SSVN. Sincere thanks to the organizers and the enthusiastic experts.
