In a context where the risk of drowning and injury accidents are still a matter of concern, equipping the community with the necessary knowledge and skills becomes extremely important. In particular, in Dak Lak province, a training program was organized to spread valuable knowledge about drowning prevention and first aid to union officials, youth union members and student volunteers.
500 youth union members from communes, wards, towns and student volunteers participated in this series of training activities. The program was organized with the aim of coordinating between Dak Lak delegation, social enterprises and SSVN Survival Skills Association. Thanks to that, participants were equipped with basic knowledge and skills in preventing drowning and injury accidents.
In addition to providing theoretical knowledge, first aid practice sessions are also organized to help them master how to handle situations when someone is in trouble. Taking advantage of the golden time in first aid work was emphasized, along with the important role of union cadres, youth union members and student volunteers in spreading this knowledge to the community.
The training program not only helps raise awareness of water safety but also creates a healthy playground for children through social and summer activities. This is truly an important step forward in building a safe community, proactively preventing accidents and protecting everyone’s health.
Through this training session, SSVN cooperated with the Provincial Student Association to provide first aid training to prevent drowning for students in Dak Lak province on drowning accidents and injury prevention with the aim of spreading this knowledge to students in Dak Lak province.
Let’s spread the message about drowning and injury prevention skills, so that each of us can contribute to creating a safer living environment!
