Trang Jena Nguyen has lived with her family in Zurich, Switzerland for many years now. Every year, Trang Jena Nguyen tries to return to Vietnam to live with her loved ones and to discover new things in her homeland.

In 2014, she had the opportunity to attend a first aid and emergency escape training course in Da Nang delivered by Mr. Tony Coffey from Australia, Ms. Trang Jena learnt the importance of this life-saving skills that she hadn’t have a proper awareness about it. At that moment, she had a dream about how to spread this knowledge to Vietnamese people in her homeland, so that everyone would be equipped to save lives, their own or others, when in dangerous situations.

  • Educational Qualification & Background

    • 1997: Graduated from Thang Long High School for the Gifted, Da Lat city, Lam Dong, major English.
    • 2001: Graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Faculty of English.
    • 2007: Graduated Master of Public Advocacy & Action from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia.
    • 2017: Completed NPL Practitioner course.
    • 2019: Completed the Relationship Coaching course.
    • 2014-2019: completed regular first aid training courses by Mr. Tony Coffey.

  • English level

    • English: Fluency – IELTS: 7.0
    • German: Basic – A2

  • Work experience

    • 2014 – Present: Co-founder of SSVN Survival Skills Company, Deputy Director of Community Connection, Business Development and First Aid Training.
    • 2019 – Present: founder of TA Relationship & Healing Coachingand is a coach.
    • 2014 – Present: Teaching assistant and directing individual and corporate First Aid training classes.
    • 2010 – 2015: English teacher and English-Vietnamese interpreter.
    • 2014 – 2015: Director of the Swiss Language Center SLC.
    • 2010 – 2014: Independent consultant for community development projects.
    • 2007 – 2009: Coordinator of Operation Smile Vietnam OSV.
    • 2006 – 2007: Studying for a Master’s degree in Australia, participating in internships and volunteering at a number of organizations in Australia.
    • 2001 – 2005: Project Coordinator for Rural Sanitation and Water Supply in the Mekong Delta.
