With the increasing mechanical population in Long Son commune, Long Son Petrochemicals Company cooperated with SSVN to organize a training course for health workers and commune officials in Long Son to improve their professional knowledge and skills on monitoring and managing infectious diseases as well as first aid to deal with emergencies in the commune.
Despite the cases that make the community increasingly lose faith in “charity”, there are still organizations that are always taking action to spread humanity and prove that the kindness among people still exists in life. And through this, they also want to rekindle the light of hope so that organizations can join hands to continue such real missions to help people and make life brighter day by day.
The participation of the medical staff and collaborators of commune health stations in this program is very important in improving the health of patients. There were also officers of the People’s Committee, the youth union, and the armed forces who are often exposed to people’s accident and injury situations. Therefore, equipping them with the right first aid skills is very important in protecting themselves and coordinating with medical forces to promptly handle people’s health problems.
SSVN is very impressed with Long Son Petrochemicals’ spirit of solidarity through the fact that the management not only encouraged the people here to participate in learning the necessary skills for themselves but also supported them with the transportation to study site and the cost after completing the training so that they can confidently cultivate the useful knowledge learnt from the course.
