'Angel' Rescuers

Mr. Pham Quoc Viet recalled in 2016 he got a traffict accident on the way to work. His body was paralyzed in a seemingly endless pain, he hoped someone would help however he was constantly disappointed watchful eyes of bystanders passing by.

Thanks to his survival instinct, he tried his best to raise his hands calling for helps. Finally, there was a person stopped and got him to hospital. “Only in that situation one could understand how lonely it was to be left to death as no one wanted to help, no one dared to help. I don’t want others to suffer such feeling.”

“I served in the military and was also trained with first aid. There are many members of my family who are doctors. Therefore, I accumilated plenty of medical knowledged. Recently I had the change to attend the first aid training course of Survival Skills Vietnam (SSVN Survival Skills) to gain more life-saving skills”, Mr. Viet shared.

The beginning of First Aid Support Angel

On Septemer 2019, Mr. Pham Quoc Viet established the F.A.S. Angels team with 5 members. After a few months in operation, the heroic actions of the team attracted more than 50 members with 30 core members.

“The ultimate mission of the team is leaving no one behind. We also set 5 ‘No’s in our actions: No leaving, No charging, No discrimination, No arguing, No judging. They are the most important all members have agreed.”

there has been thousands of victims saved by Mr. Pham Quoc Viet, many of them have contacted to thank him, the gratitude they didn’t have the chance to express during accident. In our work, Mr. Viet and his friends always swear to themselves ‘leave no one behind’, no matter they are victims or culprits
